The Art Of Maya 3rd Edition

I had a quick flip through "The Art Of Maya" and it is kind of overwhelming. There is so much information. It has made me a little scared, well more than I was. There really is so much you can do with this program. The book seems lile it would be very handy. I think it would be good to have, however I'm still not sure if I will purchase it because I just don't know if I'll read it. I think there is plenty of help availiable on line etc. Has anyone else bought it and what did you think?
