Welcome to Digital Animation

This subject sounds really exciting. It is my animation subject obviously. We have to come up with an animation that will be good enough to enter into a festival and then we will be entering them. We can use 3D animation (like last years- Gum Ball Machine), 2D, stop motion (like Gogs, Chicken Run etc), Rotoscoping (tracing live footage frame by frame), whatever.. I don't know what I'll be doing yet but it should be fun. I'm not as intimidated as I was last year but looking forward to learning new things and producing some cool stuff.
